Over Here’s workshops and events offer a welcoming, hands-on way to learn something new, connect with others, and build the kind of community we want more of.

Why Creativity Matters Here

At Over Here, we know the arts do more than entertain. They bring us together, spark our imagination, and turn neighbours into friends. A group of community members started Over Here because we believe in the value of our town and the people in it.

Together, we celebrate the talents of local artists, artisans, writers, musicians, dancers, and culinary creators. When we explore the power of creativity, wonderful things take shape.

The arts here help us:

  • Strengthen community pride and a sense of place

  • Create landmarks and reasons to visit that lift our local economy

  • Build supportive spaces to learn and grow

  • Support wellbeing and mental health

  • Share our rural beauty with the world
