
Melissa Auchincloss: A Passion for Art and Community Melissa Auchincloss is a Canadian visual artist specializing in expressionist acrylics and photography. Her creative journey began at 17, photographing local sports for The Mississauga News. From wildlife and fashion to landscapes and travel, her work showcases the vast diversity of the world, each moment telling a unique story. A former member of the Professional Photographers of Canada (2013–2023), Melissa's photography has been featured in national and provincial salons. As an elementary teacher, she championed youthful creativity and co-founded Over Here Community Arts Adventure in Erin, Ontario—a non-profit fostering artistic exploration and community connection. Her paintings focus on emotional and introspective themes, enhanced by vibrant and expressive brushstrokes. Her work is part of private collections in Japan, Wellington County, and New York State. Currently, Melissa is showcasing her acrylic works in galleries across Ontario, celebrating the beauty and human connection art can provide.
